What this campaign stores

The campaign cart, Tiny Farm Lab progress, and a random campaign visitor identifier may be stored in your browser using localStorage. The site does not need a traditional first-party cookie for these features.

For campaign funnel measurement, the browser can send a small event such as campaign view, reward interest, gift added, cart review, checkout start, or share action. Our campaign database stores a one-way hash of the random browser identifier, the event type, whether you used the full or quick page, the date, and a coarse source label such as a campaign link tag or referring domain.

What we do not intentionally put in the campaign analytics table

We do not intentionally store your IP address, full referrer URL, browser user-agent string, payment-card number, or advertising profile in this campaign analytics table. Our web host may maintain ordinary server logs, and external services you choose to visit may process their own information.

Square, YouTube, and Zeffy

Square handles payment checkout on its own service. The campaign video uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed when you choose to play it. Esperanza's Sanctuary donations open the nonprofit's separate Zeffy page. Those services have their own privacy practices.

Email updates

If you enter your email in an email-updates form and explicitly check the consent box, we store that email address, the signup source, the consent version, and the signup date so we know you asked to receive From The Land campaign and farm updates. An email address supplied to Square for an order is not automatically added to this update list.

You can unsubscribe from an update or contact us and ask to be removed from the list.
